SUMMARY:Spring Equinox Celebration
DESCRIPTION:We will gather together to celebrate the re-birth of Nature\, the return of flowers and the wondrous healing colors. We’ll honor the Water and the Sun so that we may receive their cleansing\, nourishing energy. \nThe celebration will begin with a one hour sound bath offered by Iris McCray\, a certified Sound Healing Practitioner from Manassas\, VA. She plays and loves the sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls\, Crystal Singing Bowls\, Gongs\, Harps Solfeggio & other Tuning Forks\, Indigenous instruments like Flutes\, Rattles Drums\, Berimbaus\, Bells\, Diggeridos\, Anklungs\, Steel Drums and other Sound Healing Tools.  You may wish to bring a pillow and blanket to comfortably lie down and receive the sound-vibrations. A gratitude donation is requested for participation. \nThe afternoon will be spent honoring Spring through ceremony and rituals led by Lorinda Ulmer owner of Grandfather Says. \nThe celebration will end with a fire circle and drumming in the evening. \nLunch and dinner will be potluck style or bring your own. \nThis event is considered a fundraiser for The Land Celebration and donations are appreciated. DESCRIPTION: From the time we are very young\, unresolved hurts\, grief and disappointments are shunted to parts of our body where patterns develop that “hold” our fears and angers. These unexpressed emotions and mental ideas of reactivity become beliefs that reside within our bodies\, creating places of “held” energy and dis-ease. Our breath no longer reaches the innermost parts of us\, thus creating stagnation and separation in our body and within its systems. When these unconscious patterns are made conscious from the intelligence of our cells through HeartThread\, our self-imposed fears and restrictions fall away. HeartThread brings clarity and conscious understanding of the physical patterns that affect our behavior and determine our approach to life. \nWhen we are joined through the heart\, we feel safe. As an organism\, this sense of safety influences and affects every cell in our body. No matter what has happened to us mentally\, emotionally\, or physically\, holding our heart with the HeartThread intention energizes all of our cells\, bringing light into them\, balancing them\, opening them\, and assisting them to flow with the energy of our consciousness. \nHeartThread (HT) trainings are three days in length and are practical\, experiential hands-on learning opportunities. DESCRIPTION:For Mothers and Daughters grades 5-8 \n\nJoin Francine Ronis\, LPC and Jeneen Piccuirro\, MFA for an extraordinary weekend of connection\, community and joy. \nAs our daughters head into the teen years\, our sacred bond can become strained and challenging. Teen years are characterized as some of the trickiest and moms often worry that they are losing their daughters. Daughters\, in turn\, can feel lost\, as they struggle with the developmental pull of adolescence and their continuing need for connection and safety in the home. \nAs moms of teen girls\, we personally know that the road can be rocky. We also know that it is a wonder and joy to sherpa our girls into womanhood\, as we nurture their spirit\, independence\, love of self and need for community. \nJoin us for a special weekend that will nurture your bond\, create new avenues for respectful and responsible communication and offer a shared experience that is fun\, active and engaging.  There will be time for mothers and daughters together as well as separate activities with peers. Our retreat will take place close to home in a spectacular setting that provides space and opportunity for community\, learning\, fun and time in nature. DESCRIPTION:The Art of Personal Power \nThis workshop intensive attends to the real work of spiritual adulthood\, the eradication of fear and fear-based behaviors. Stepping through the shadowy realms of our inner world\, we learn to navigate\, “”The Seven Powers of The Unconscious”. During the weekend we will apprentice the wisdom transmissions of the Chaupi teachings -the traditional bridge between the mystical and magical sides of the path. Through the opening of a series of perceptive eyes on the body\, we learn the arts of the Chunpi Paqo. These arts teach us to work with lifetime and encrusted hucha and a powerful practice of Soul Retrieval Andean style. The Chunpi Paqo is considered a special skill. According to Q’ero stories\, when none of the indigenous healers were able to restore health to a sick person\, the Chunpi Paqo was summoned to perform his energy-belt rituals and the person was healed. Through a series of rites\, we incorporate\, “The Sacred Couple”: a blending of our inner masculine and feminine selves.

During this weekend\, we apprentice the sacred center of the Katari Altar Maestro. In the center we build the Kintu Misha\, a power-pack that represents our heart’s fire.\nThe Kintu Misha serves as the Axis Mundi\, bridging the three worlds and organizing the flows of spiritual and cosmological energies for our highest good and healing. The mystery teachings of the Kintu Misha facilitates a deepening of connection with nature\, spirit and sacred places- becoming an indispensable tool for the service and healing of others. During our time\, we will learn to connect to our Ch’aska Kuna\, or “Guiding Stars”\, this is one of the most important tasks following the Andean path. Your guiding stars represents your highest potential\, spiritual gifts\, and talents. Through group work\, we will define our personal power\, and learn to express it using Rimay\, “The Power of True Speech”. We will structure our Misha according to personal power\, and close them using an Andean folding method. We will learn the ceremonial uses of the Misha\, and advanced ways to use the mesa in healing.
