SUMMARY:Mother/Daughter Retreat
DESCRIPTION:For Mothers and Daughters grades 5-8 \n\nJoin Francine Ronis\, LPC and Jeneen Piccuirro\, MFA for an extraordinary weekend of connection\, community and joy. \nAs our daughters head into the teen years\, our sacred bond can become strained and challenging. Teen years are characterized as some of the trickiest and moms often worry that they are losing their daughters. Daughters\, in turn\, can feel lost\, as they struggle with the developmental pull of adolescence and their continuing need for connection and safety in the home. \nAs moms of teen girls\, we personally know that the road can be rocky. We also know that it is a wonder and joy to sherpa our girls into womanhood\, as we nurture their spirit\, independence\, love of self and need for community. \nJoin us for a special weekend that will nurture your bond\, create new avenues for respectful and responsible communication and offer a shared experience that is fun\, active and engaging.  There will be time for mothers and daughters together as well as separate activities with peers. Our retreat will take place close to home in a spectacular setting that provides space and opportunity for community\, learning\, fun and time in nature. Just 90 minutes from the DC metro area. \nFor Mothers and Daughters grades 5-8 \nCost per couple includes workshop\, lodging and meals.   Early bird by April 15\, $500\, later $625 \nRegistration: Francine Ronis\, francine@francineronis.com 571-213-9215 \n\nThe facilitators: \nFrancine Ronis\, LPC is a child/family therapist and parenting coach with over 20 years of experience working with families in the DC area.  She specializes in child/parent relationships and women’s empowerment. Francine facilitates runs workshops\, retreats\, parenting classes and is a teacher trainer.  Her passion is helping families live with more joy and connection. She brings her inquisitive spirit and sense of humor and playfulness to her work with families.  Francine is a dedicated mom to a fabulous 16 year old daughter. \nJeneen Piccuirro\, MFA\, has over 30 years experience leading original Art\, Meditation\, Yoga\, Dance\, Sound Healing\, Subtle Energy and Movement based offerings.  She is a pioneer in genuinely weaving together various ancient and modern modalities to integrate wholeness\, harmony and balance into one’s life\, for soulful and sacred well being. She is a practicing professional visual & performing artist\, retreat leader\, doting mother\, spiritual guide and founder of Soul Voyage Studio and Retreats.  She brings her joyful spirit\, creative soul and caring nature to all of her adventures. \n  \n
