DESCRIPTION:We will gather together to celebrate the re-birth of Nature\, the return of flowers and the wondrous healing colors. We’ll honor the Water and the Sun so that we may receive their cleansing\, nourishing energy. \nThe celebration will begin with a one hour sound bath offered by Iris McCray\, a certified Sound Healing Practitioner from Manassas\, VA. She plays and loves the sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls\, Crystal Singing Bowls\, Gongs\, Harps Solfeggio & other Tuning Forks\, Indigenous instruments like Flutes\, Rattles Drums\, Berimbaus\, Bells\, Diggeridos\, Anklungs\, Steel Drums and other Sound Healing Tools.  You may wish to bring a pillow and blanket to comfortably lie down and receive the sound-vibrations. A gratitude donation is requested for participation. \nThe afternoon will be spent honoring Spring through ceremony and rituals led by Lorinda Ulmer owner of Grandfather Says. \nThe celebration will end with a fire circle and drumming in the evening. \nLunch and dinner will be potluck style or bring your own. \nThis event is considered a fundraiser for The Land Celebration and donations are appreciated. DESCRIPTION:For Mothers and Daughters grades 5-8 \n\nJoin Francine Ronis\, LPC and Jeneen Piccuirro\, MFA for an extraordinary weekend of connection\, community and joy. \nAs our daughters head into the teen years\, our sacred bond can become strained and challenging. Teen years are characterized as some of the trickiest and moms often worry that they are losing their daughters. Daughters\, in turn\, can feel lost\, as they struggle with the developmental pull of adolescence and their continuing need for connection and safety in the home. \nAs moms of teen girls\, we personally know that the road can be rocky. We also know that it is a wonder and joy to sherpa our girls into womanhood\, as we nurture their spirit\, independence\, love of self and need for community. \nJoin us for a special weekend that will nurture your bond\, create new avenues for respectful and responsible communication and offer a shared experience that is fun\, active and engaging.  There will be time for mothers and daughters together as well as separate activities with peers. Our retreat will take place close to home in a spectacular setting that provides space and opportunity for community\, learning\, fun and time in nature. She brings her inquisitive spirit and sense of humor and playfulness to her work with families.  Francine is a dedicated mom to a fabulous 16 year old daughter. \nJeneen Piccuirro\, MFA\, has over 30 years experience leading original Art\, Meditation\, Yoga\, Dance\, Sound Healing\, Subtle Energy and Movement based offerings.  She is a pioneer in genuinely weaving together various ancient and modern modalities to integrate wholeness\, harmony and balance into one’s life\, for soulful and sacred well being. Freedom is the absence of those old programs which we allow to keep running\, and Awareness is the key to releasing them.\nThe potential of the Stargate is to enable us to access more of who we truly are easily. We then have the opportunity\, in a tangibly loving atmosphere\, to explore parts of ourselves which keep us limited.\nChange can happen for each of us in a moment of realization\, and we invite you to join us for a weekend of exploration into this wonderful mystery we are all playing a significant part in.\nThe weekend will be guided by Varid and Ashley who bring with them\, and offer\, the depth and range of the Stargate Experience and the Lifestyle it encourages us to embrace.\nWe are at a monumental period in Human Evolution\, and we are all taking part in it.
